P2G Book Club

Register now! P2G Book Club Session on March 8: We’ll discuss The Door by Hungarian writer Magda Szabo with facilitators from the faculty of Budapest’s Lauder Yavne Jewish Community School.

The Door is a powerful and tragic novel about the complex, two-decade-long relationship between Magda, an educated writer, and Emerence, her enigmatic and fiercely independent housekeeper. The story explores themes of love, class differences, pride, and ultimately, a profound betrayal of trust.
