Stark County Hunger Task Force – 2012-2013 Charge Ushering Opportunity
A wonderful volunteer opportunity that helps raise money for the Stark County Hunger Task Force is now available. By volunteering to usher at any of the Civic Centers NBA Development League games or other events, the salary normally paid to the usher will be donated to the Hunger Task Force. The Stark County Hunger Task Force subsidizes 30 pantries throughout Stark County. Like many other agencies and organizations, the Hunger Task Force is facing budget cuts. With volunteer ushers, the Stark County Hunger Task Force could raise as much as $15,000 to support the pantries.

telephone 330-492-1145. You will need to arrive at the Civic Center lobby at the required report time where you will receive “usher instruction” and have time to get familiar with your assigned area. The “uniform” is a while shirt and beige/tan slacks.
The Hunger Task Force needs a commitment of 15 ushers per game.
